The Lloyd Richardson Show, which aired for the first time on April 7, 2000, is a television variety show on Sunday evenings from 8pm to 9pm on St. Maarten Cable TV, channel 15.
Among the segments of the show are “Personality Profile,” which, as the title suggests, focuses on interesting personalities in the community.
“Street Talk” taps into the pulse of the island with impromptu interviews with ordinary personalities on the streets.
“Focus” zeroes in on the many issues, topics and current events, while “Caribbean Close-Up” offers the viewers a glimpse of life on many islands in the Caribbean.
“St. Maarten After Dark” looks at the night life on the island such as stage shows, pageants, song festivals etc.
And finally “Flash Back” takes viewers on a journey back in time or, if you will a trip down memory lane.
Among some of the most interesting shows over the years is the annual airing of the West Indian Labor Day Parade in Brooklyn New York and the carnival parades and shows of Trinidad.
