Video Pro

Having a function such as a wedding, party or just want your event presented on video, then Video Pro can accomodate your wishes.

VideoPro, the first small business owned by Rich Ent,  videotapes weddings, parties and other events for clients.

The business began as a hobby in 1984, when Lloyd purchased his first video camera, a Sony Betamax. The bulky, box-like camera is a far cry from the hi-tech, ultra-sophisticated video cams the company employs in it’s videotaping work today.

Like sister company, Rent-A-Tent, most of VideoPro’s work takes place during carnival and other major events on the island. The company specializes in weddings, the brunt of which occur during the months of June & July. Weddings range from $300 to $600 depending on the client’s needs.

VideoPro’s success spawned the birth of The Lloyd Richardson Show, a television program on the local cable channel which has captured a vast share of the island’s television viewers. (Click on The Lloyd Richardson Show for more details)

Among the many interesting videos produced by VideoPro is the live filming and aftermath of Hurricane Luis, St. Maarten’s most devastating disaster which destroyed approximately 90 percent of the island on September 5, 1995.

Although most of the videotaping and editing work is done by LloydR himself, the company sometimes employs other professional videographers and editors when there is a request for multiple cameras etc.
